prototype
construction

Prototype development and small-batch production
Production
of
prototypes
and
small
batches
according
to
customer
specifications.
This
can
be
done
using
rapid
prototyping
methods
such
as
3D
printing,
or
through
the
fabrication
of
individual
parts
from
metal
or
plastic
as
near-production
components.
Upon
request,
small
batches
can
also
be
produced
based
on
the
prototypes.
Plant and Fixture Construction
By
combining
expertise
in
steel
and
metal
construction
with
systems
engineering
and
automation,
RMM
is
able
to
offer
custom-designed
plants,
fixtures,
and
specialized
machinery.
From
plants
for
concrete
production
facilities
to
test
and
inspection
fixtures
for
connectors,
and
even
specialized
transport
carts
with custom functions, RMM develops the right technology to meet your needs.

Automatic folding supportin conjunction
with AUCOS Coup
The automatic folding support, developed
by RMM Metternich Mechatronik GmbH,
enables trailers to be coupled and
uncoupled safely and conveniently. The
system is already being tested in German,
American and Canadian ports.
The AUCOS Coup automatic coupling
system for trucks and trailers has been
further developed with its proven
components for a customer in Hamburg.
The system is already being used
successfully there, as well as in the USA
and Canada. Assembly is possible for 2”
and 3,5 “ king pins.
The remote-controlled automatic locks
secure containers in seconds. The
previous, cumbersome locking by hand is
eliminated and the driver can be sure that
the container is firmly seated on the
chassis. With the right control, the system
can also be operated by the driver’s cab.
